Spring Flowers

Last fall I actually remembered to plant spring bulbs.  It's the first time I have remembered to do that in the seven years we've lived here.  I was so excited when my daffodils finally showed their faces!

I liked the pop of bright turquoise in this otherwise neutral outfit, but the rolled sleeves were a bit obnoxious.  I think this was not the best shirt to try it with.

Ride the Dragon

This post title won't make any sense until you scroll down.  One of my neighbors has this cheesy dragon statue in their yard (or maybe it's the Loch Ness monster?  I don't know...)  I've been contemplating getting a photo with it for a while and finally worked up the nerve to do it.  I got some mighty strange looks from people driving by...

Onto the clothes! I liked the combination of the bright colors and different patterns I had going on today.  Any time I mix patterns I have to have something plain in between.  Maybe one of these days I'll graduate to pattern on pattern, but I'm taking baby steps here.

All that Glitters is Gold...

Sequins and sparkles always make a girl have fun, don't they?  This tank is another find on the Target clearance rack.  I really love that store sometimes!  I haven't worn this jacket in ages but the glittery gold thread went with the tank too perfectly to pass up.
